| dc.description.abstract | The 46th Sectoral Council on Trade, Industry, Finance and Investment (SCTIFI) Meeting Was held in Arusha from 6th
- 30th of May, 2025 respectively. The Authority was represented by the Director General, Mr. David Kemei and Mr. Raphael Mburu, Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions. The Kenyan delegation during the SCTIFI meeting was led by Mr. Lee Kinyanjui, Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary - Investments, Trade and Industry (MITI) and Ms. Beatrice Askul Moe, cabinet Secretary - East African Community, ASALs and Regional Development. Prior to the meeting a national preparatory meeting was convened in Nairobi by the Ministry of East Africa Community, The ASALs and Regional Development (MEAC) on 22nd May, 2025. The purpose of the meeting was to deliberate on the Country’s position for the upcoming SCTIFI meeting. The meeting observed the need to have proper presentation during the SCTIFI in order to ensure that the country position was well articulated and championed. | en_US |
