| dc.description.abstract | The meeting to induct newly appointed Commissioners of the East African Community Competition Authority EACCA) was held from 3rd to 4th June 2025 in Arusha, United Republic of Tanzania. The meeting was convened in accordance with the EAC Calendar of Activities for January–June 2025. The objective of the meeting was to administer the Oath of Allegiance and Oath of Secrecy to the newly appointed Commissioners and to induct them in preparation for the implementation of their mandate under the EAC Competition Act, 2006. In addition, participants received briefings on the legal, institutional, and policy frameworks relevant to EACCA’s operations. | en_US |
